Everything is Practice

Everything Is Practice explored repetition as a fundamental part of the artistic process. Whether working in series or producing a single object, artists return to particular ideas, materials, gestures, and procedures again and again. Within this ongoing cycle, differences begin to emerge—between sameness and variation, growth and decay, success and failure.
Bringing together sculpture, painting, drawing, installation, and fiber-based work, the exhibition considered how repetition can generate change, deepen attention, and shape the development of a finished work.
